He didn't run down the tunnel at all. He came off, gave the usual handshakes & high fives. Spoke to Nathan Jones, got given a coat and he then walked down to the tunnel. 'ran straight down the tunnel' is just completely wrong

Yes, it's because despite only signing a contract two weeks ago, he hates the club, hates our fans and the way we always get on his back, and is trying to engineer a move to Palace.

Hope this helps.

He definitely ran down the touchline whilst putting his top on. He was very close to the tunnel before his bib was on because I remember thinking how easy it would have been to just run back on.

By the seaside in West Somerset
he was up against a 5 man midfield in blustery conditions. Still not fully match fit - it would be a surprise if he didnt need a bit of a rub down.
He was out for the warm-down after though.

So the REAL question is why did WA say that...?

For those of you who were not there, perhaps it should be explained that the tunnel was in the corner at our end but on the side populated with Birmingham fans. So as opposed to disappearing down the tunnel in a few steps, he had half the pitch to run or walk or however his gait can be described.

It's not unusual to go straight down the tunnel. Players do it all the time these days. Straight into the ice bath etc.
