So the REAL question is why did WA say that...?

Why he says 75% of the things he says is beyond me. How he is a scout defies logic, his player reports must be garbled nonsense. Adam has been a professional at the club for ten (10) years and he still can't say 'El Abd'.

To be honest, I actually think he's quite informative. But if you get PAID to commentate on the radio, you'd think that somebody at BBC Sussex would have pulled him to one side by now and made him practice some of the incredibly difficult player names we have in our team.. "UH JO AH" and "EL ABD" for example.

Spanish Dave clapped us in the away end as he traipsed off and we sang "Spanish Dave , Spanish Dave , Spanish Dave , Spanish Dave". Going down the tunnel instead of putting a bib on and sitting on the bench suggests he needed a rub down as the bench is on the half way line and the tunnel is in the corner at St Andrews.

While we're at it what was Barnes and the brum keeper talking about at full time? Why did he not come over with the rest of the players? Does this mean he is signing for Birmingham or is about to become a goal keeper? All very mysterious.

Could be - he has spoken about how he was a big Peter Schmeichel fan as a kid, and played all positions on the field, including goalkeeper.
