Would that be a ' Spanish ' omelette?

Not sure to be honest, it was in Macs Cafe, probably a Whitehawk omelette! Must be moonlighting in his spare time
Mac's cafe. I remember using that cafe when there was a Mac. I think he also had the transport cafe in Elm Grove.
Showing your age now ANFC Whoever runs/owns it now is not fit to butter Macs bread!

Its not just omelettes, he can cook to Michelin star standard. He can also talk to 10 species of animals, impregnate 37 women in an hour and is fluent in 12 languages including Geordie. And last I heard is spearheading peace talks between north and South Korea
I love it when WW's threads get bounced...
Great thread!
At the very start Dave really was a bit lost.
Whenever he got the ball back to goal he'd take far too many touches and slow the play down, got muscled off the ball and wasn't placing the long balls or free kicks as well expected.
Almost Harley-esq, but not quite.
Then he had that game when he got moved to right back and suddenly he had more time on the ball and he was always facing their goal. Had a great game.
He got to understand the English champ game and it all clicked upstairs for him,
From that day forward he's been the player Gus must have expected him to be.
Great character and experience too.
Reading through this thread is a good example of how a player can turn the critics around with hard work and passion for the shirt you wear.
Lopez failed to shine in his initial couple of games in a different country and football culture.
That's surely unique to him, and shows an inflexibility in his mentality. Not good on his part, and I would suggest unacceptable. This may have cost few vital points, which have now 7 months down the line, have robbed us of an automatic promotion place.
Yeah but half were penalties and freekicks. They don't count.

The difference between us making the playoffs and getting promoted this season is 'Dave'. 8 goals, many assists, many fantastic crosses and on target shots. He may end up the highest scorer this season and some on here want to apck him back off to Spain. I just don't know what you want, he's played right back, right midfield, centre midfield, right wing and generally up front. Is there another in the team that can do this? I would say that he will be the difference this season, I am totally mistified by some of the comments on this thread.

He can do it all, not seen him in goal yet though.
Were his exact words 'Dave is useless at everything else, so maybe he's a goalie'?At the sponsors dinner my son asked gp the theoretical question
Who would go in goal if thomaz got sent off and Ankergren came off the bench and got injured.
His answer ....
you guessed it Spanish dave!!
I'd imagine he'd have to wrestle the gloves off Calde, first. At the sponsors dinner my son asked gp the theoretical question

You'd have to feel for Casper, lying prostrate on the ground, unable to get any medical attention, while half the team are trying to rip his shirt off..........you could almost guarantee that couldnt you
