I'll say it again, best buy of the year, better than Vicente( wheers the Lopez song North Stand?) and he is key to out playoff aspiration. Spotted him in his first game for us, Gus apparently didn't. Unsung, bossed our midfield today, ran and ran, he s not here on a meal ticket. Fantatsic player, Dave...........thats all that needs to be said!!!!

Deadline day panic buy, and yet another waste of space in an overcrowded group of mediocre midfield players. His best spell in La Liga? The best part of 5 years ago now for a mid table side, before he soon became a fringe player.
Friday August 31st, the day Poyet killed our season, dismantling a midfield that was looking good up until that point.
This has got to be getting close to GOLD now.

He is a sensational player. Still only 30. He is our Xavi right now, everything we do goes through him. His work rate is amazing, and his tackling is probably not talked about, but he consistently and effectively wins the ball on so many occasions. Player of the season for me at the moment.
