That thought did occur to me - but if so why bring them on when the game was pretty much dead? Bung 'em on from the start if you want to put them in the shop window, surely.

Well, if you look at it logically, names would make more sense than numbers. The numbers will have to be 'translated' into names to go on the report anyway.

I may be wrong but I'm sure I heard the reporter on sky that was at the game say that we played a behind closed doors game this morning hence the number of changes and development squad players in the team tonight.

He won't. Ironically he got injured around the same time knocky did with more severe ankle ligament damage. 6 weeks at least.
