200 up for SA with only 1 wicket down. Potential for a monster score here.

I've had to relent, and tweak CHAPPERS STUPID thread title, otherwise England would have been in the field for DAYS.

Watch the wickets TUMBLE, now.

Change it back, it didn't work

and a wicket for Moeen Ali... Duminy LBW... poor shot

273-5... impressive hour from England... and the new ball due shortly.

You reckon??

Proper fight back from England here. Good effort.

However, de Kock could easily do what Root did to them last time out, and take the game out of sight with several lusty blows. Here's hoping he skies one shortly.

I'm not watching.

Is de Kock spraying it around all over the place?

Indeed, the Barmy Army would go wild if Broad or Anderson got de Kock out!

Be good to nick one of these 2 out before close and get a nightwatchman in overnight.

Anderson to de Kock, 2 runs, tapped into the covers, a very handy over of counter-punching from South Africa
86.5
Anderson to de Kock, FOUR, short and pulled on the up through midwicket, excellent controlled aggression in this over as de Kock's natural game comes to the fore. Anderson glowers, as well he might
86.4
Anderson to de Kock, no run, good riposte, round the wicket, angling in, beating a flaccid pushed defence
86.3
Anderson to de Kock, FOUR, punched off the back foot and that is almost as crisp a strike as the last one. Up on the toes, riding the bounce and using the width. Moeen chases but can't cut it off
86.2
Anderson to de Kock, FOUR, crisp and controlled, that is a lovely strike, straight back whence it came as Anderson over-pitches on off stump. Tight technique, flowing blade

Oh. :nono:

Stumps Day 1

SA 327/5

de Kock 25*
Bavuma 32*

Great first 2 sessions for SA with England coming back into it after tea. Lets hope we can knock them over pretty quickly tomorrow morning.

Always a bit weird when a 60+ over old ball appears to be the most effective of the day!

New ball returned it to making batting look very easy again.

Can't believe they reviewed that. Just about as plumb as a plumb lbw can be.

Hitting middle half way up - not the best use of a review even with just the tail left. Worried that we may struggle with the swing when we get in - we should have cleaned up this tail faster in these conditions
