What the f*** is going on....no new players halfway through the transfer window....Tight pull your f***ing finger out and do not wait till the last f***ing day again and then spin loads of bullshit in the argus....if your money has run out get off the pot and lot some one else on the board take over:censored:

Your rant is clueless, childish and very boring. Again.

having recently spoken to someone close to the management I can assure you there is plenty going on ...whether we get the players is a different matter..

Don't be so ridiculous-everybody knows the club isn't interested in bringing anybody in to strengthen the squad so they're all sitting around doing nothing.

One line at the end of an article in todays Argus. He is having a trial with us, then Birmingham, after us releasing him earlier on his life

Hmm... go to a championship club with premiership aspirations, or a league one club that off loadeed you and are now hoping to avoid relegation... tough call. *can't understand why no one has decided to sign for us yet*

Ok

new left back urgent
one ball playing centre midfielder
one semi decent back up striker

that is all

So, let me get this straight. You have just had a ridiculous rant at the club for not doing anything in the window as yet and then said that all we need is 3 players (one of which has signed today)

Hardly worth a rant then if thats what you really think would represent a good January transfer window.

As for your views re Dick Knight, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and take over from Dick. I think you would be front of the queue to be honest.

I play with him at Eastbourne Town and hes probably the best player at my age group I've ever seen.

I captained the school team he was in when we were younger. Does that mean I can have a trial please Mr Knight?

In all seriousness, I know hes a great player at schoolboy level and recently had trials for the England youth schools association thingy. Read in the local papers recently that hes been doing well for Town but Im not sure hes Albion standard, but I guess with the right training etc he could bulk up, and improve. One to keep an eye on, but nothing to get too excited about really is it?

Well if we go down we can look back on this transfer window and think 'was enough done to prevent relegation?'

Yep... the queue stretches around the block for wealthy Brighton supporters desperate to thrown good money after bad. I just wish Dick Knight would listen

Yes,why won't he listen to us spending his money?

We've missed out on Kaka now.

Course,if the average Albion spendthrift fan donated,say,£100,000 each,we could buy all sorts of top players who would jump at the chance to play at Withdean and further their careers.

I do get fed up of the Dick Knight arse lickers who continually say.."we should all love Dick Knight, because he put his money into the club"........or..."put your money where your mouth is"........or.........."we owe Dick Knight everything"...or........."if the average spendthrift fan donated £100,000 each"..etc......etc...etc...etc...

Dick Knight has put SOME money into the club...............as have many of the shareholders..............but NONE of them have put ALL their money into the club. What may seem a large sum to most of us, is merely pocket money to them.

However, my main gripe with all this Dick Knight "love-in" lark, is this.......

Do you believe Dick Knight has put SOME of his money into the club for.......

a) The likes of you and me..( and I can assure you...he hasn,t got a f***ing clue who I am)..?

b) The prestige of being a Chairman of a Football League Club.........?

c) Because he,s a control freak.....?

or

d) He,s an Albion supporter......and he,s done it for himself......?.( I have to add.....that if I won £100 million on the Euro lottery......I,d invest heavily...........but for me...........not every Tom , Dick and Harry on here.........who I don,t have a f***ing clue who you are.......and neither do I care much)

Leeds and Oldham have both just signed Left backs on loan. Is there a national problem with finding decent left backs when at 1 time we thought we had 3, Richards playing and Rents and Cobbs as back up coming through the system. Would Harding consider a loan from Ipswich if we cant get Richards.

SO YOU LIVE IN A FANTASY WORLD THEN WHERE ANY OWNER(S) OF ANY FOOTBALL CLUB SHOULD BANKRUPT THEMSELVES AND POUR ALL THEIR MONEY INTO WHAT IS JUST A TEAM THAT PLAYS A GAME?

TRY ENGAGING YOUR BRAIN AND THINKING ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DEMANDING BEFORE YOU START COMPLAINING THAT THEY ARN'T DOING ENOUGH

OR
E) HE IS AN ALBION SUPPORTER AND DOESN'T WANT THE CLUB TO DIE, NOT FOR HIMSELF? AND IT IS THE BOARD WHO PUT MONEY IN, AND ALONG WITH THE MANAGER, DECIDE ON PLAYERS TO BRING IN (IF THEY CHOOSE TO JOIN, NO ONE FORCES THEM TO JOIN IF WE DO TRY TO GET SOMEONE IN AND THE PLAYERS CAN SAY NO THANKS)

F) AND BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS THE JOB ON THE BOARD AS CHAIRMAN AND THEY ARE PERFECTLY HAPPY WITH THE JOB THAT HE IS DOING

g) NO-ONE HAS APPROACHED THE CLUB ABOUT INVESTING IN IT, BUT YOUR TOO BLINKERED BY STORIES ABOUT RICH FOREIGN OWNERS OF PREMIERSHIP CLUBS AND CAN'T MAKE THE LINK BETWEEN THAT AND WHY NO-ONE IS INVESTING IN A LOSS MAKING, ASSET-LESS CLUB WHICH IS BORROWING HEAVILY TO BUILD A NEW STADIUM BUT IS CURRENTLY PLAYING IN A 3RD RATE VENUE, - CAN YOU REALLY SEE A MULTI MILLIONAIRE AND HIS GUESTS ENTERTAINING VIP'S IN THE TEMPORARY PORTACABINS BEFORE TAKING THEIR SEATS IN AN ATHLETICS STADIUM?

Just wondered like but how you think that Dick Knight has a "hold on the club" exactly?
He has been elected Chairman by the Club Board (who run the Club), this has been ratified by the Club shareholders (who own the club) and he will have periodocally come up for re-election.
If a company's shareholders are unhappy with a Chairman then it's easy to get rid of him/her (unless they're a majority shareholder), you just vote them off at the AGM or call an EGM and do it.
Btw Dick Knight is not a majority shareholder, indeed the individual Board members don't own 50%+1 of the BHA shares between them.
Would you have him step down as chaiman, director or shareholder, or all three?

I do see peoples frustrations with the lack of players coming in but if you look around the country not a lot of business is being done. Afterall why would teams want to let players leave halfway through the season.

stop posting such sensible comments, it might stop these conspiracy theorists from being able to blame Dick Knight for everything.

You must know that to post on this board you have to be either a panicking idiot, an attention seeker or both.

And whats the betting that if you were a Man City fan, you'd be complaining that their current owners arn't doing enough, and dispointed with the lack of signings they have made since taking over, and they should quit and let someone who has money and willing to spend it take over.

Some people are just never happy with what they have got, and unprepared to face the reality of the situation we are in, whats the use of panic buying if the players you bring in are not good enough or won't fit in with the current squad? surely taking a little bit more time and bringing in the right players that we need and actually strenghten the squad in terms of skill and ability rather than just numbers is a good thing.

also it doesn't matter how much cash someone has, if a club is unwilling to sell, or a player chooses not to join us then how is that the chairmans fault? or if the player has a choice of clubs (Like Joe Anyinsah), then the ground etc plays a massive part in their decision. Once Falmer is built, then that will help us to be able to attract better players to join us, but that means being patient in the meantime and the clubs priority should be getting the ground built.

James Norwood has real potential. Just the sort of local player we should be looking at.
