Money is not the main issue the club have said the cash is there to sign players, the problem is getting players to the Shitdean Stadium, and can you blame then.

I don't hold with this view that players are put off by the ground. If the money is right, then they will play anywhere ( didn't put Robbie Savage off ! )
Where would you and your family rather be based... Carlisle, Darlington, Rochdale etc or Brighton. I know Thomson's family were homesick but this is the exception rather than the rule.

Part of the problem here is down to what the club has been through in the Archer / Stanley / Belotti days, and this has resulted in a fans mistrust of what the clubs' chairman / board are doing, and that the fans are closely attached to the club that they helped to save so feel that they deserve something extra in return above the norm.

LOL..! No, I realise that being a STH is not the only requisite necessary to be a Director.

Personally, despite the "Archer/Stanley/Belotti days", I don't "mistrust" Mr. Knight (albeit, he is very good at spin).........and there is no doubt he has achieved many things.

However, I personally, believe he is too old, too stubborn........and too slow with his achievements...(much of this I acknowlegde, is due to the fact, that he is, in football finance terms, very much a pauper). IMHO.
