That is complete bullshit.

The team sucked the life out of the fans today, with the main culprit in the first half being our captain. We had zero intensity in the first half and that was mainly due to the fact of the snail pace play starting from our back line. As a crowd we were ok for a while, but the showing on the pitch was PATHETIC and killed the crowd.
Exactly that.

There was a moment in the second half where the crowd were behind the team, only for Dunk & Veltman to play 5 or 6 passes between their stationary selves. Met with groans of frustration from the crowd and killed any hint of atmosphere.

If the players/manager want a better atmosphere from the crowd, they have to do their part on the pitch.

It's just so annoying to keep churning out dull and insipid performances against teams who are out of form, luck and sitting at the bottom of the league. If we had a bottom 5 squad I'd accept it but we don't. You can understand the odd performance where we underestimate the opposition but this has been the case for a while. We all know what's going to happen before we play a bottom 5 team at home. We've managed 3 points from 12 so far with Saints, Ipswich probably having the poorest prem squads we've seen for years. To hear...'we didn't play with enough intensity' from Fab over and over without any change the next time is frustrating IMO.

Know your place and temper any ambition, we are pretty bang average at home and should accept it?

I take it you didn’t watch that performance?
Don't be silly.

Of course I was there.

I'm interested in the form of protest and action you bed-wetters have in mind.

After 2-2 with Villa away
1-1 with Arse at home
2-0 win away at Ipswich
3-1 win at united.

I realize all these teams are shit and should be losing to teams like Brighton.

So what form of protest?
Presumably you either left early or booed vigorously at 90 minutes. Boo. BOO! Boo.
Whatabout a protest March?
Or whatabout tearing up your season ticket?

I have news for you apparent johnny come latelies, with your tumescent entitlement.
Football can be disappointing
Often it is shit.

Being a cry-baby about it will only give you a smudgy complexion and wrinkles.

That said, Fab OUT!
Sack the board!

I’ll ignore everything on there except to say I stayed until the end and a bit, enjoyed the handbags, clapped the team off (no idea why I did that), didn’t boo anyone except the ref and the Everton players as they left the field and came away with my nappy soaking

Oh and if going since 1975 makes me a Johnny Come Lately, then so be it. I am also quite entitled to feel entitled to see a team show as much passion as they did after the game during it.

Have you tried tearing up an iphone btw :lolol:

A couple of shots on target would be nice.
I'd be happy with that.
And I have raised an eyebrow about the fact that yesterday we were lacking in that department,
to the tune of any.

Moyes in his interviews gave the impression he thought he was the luckiest man in the world,
Luckier even than the JFK's reserve body double who had the day off on Nov 22 1963.

So I'm a bit surprised you have apparently joined team 'woe is me' after, yes, a very annoying defeat,
people lining up an inventory of our awful home results
as if it explains why we are in the relegation slots
and attests to some sort of managerial Dutch Elm Disease
that needs to be cauterized now. Now! Now.

(I must admit I am finding Fabs hair really off-putting.
And his eyes are getting googley in interviews.
Could the be another Potteresque bully-bait moment?
Nobody likes to be a bully, but nobody likes a dweeb either. ???
Time will tell....)

No woe is me, just pissed off that I wasted a lovely day to end up bored and frustrated. I don’t want anyone sacked I just want my team to give me more entertainment than handbags after full time.

Shit happens I accept but I am not a shoulder shrugger about it and as this is an Albion forum I should be able to have a moan on it. Better than hurling abuse at and booing players and manager during the game I think

To be fair Harry - it didn't look that desperate to me, it seemed fairly routine for them - they gobble up the sorts of crosses we were putting in, and shots from distance are lucky if they find their way through 10 players in the box.
Yes, it was rather predictable.

If we want to talk seriously about football, it seemed to me that Pedro had been instructed to play rather deep as a ten, and it didn't seem to work.
And that to beat that low block requires catching them on the break, which isn't going to happen if the opposition are organized.
Meaning you have to be Barcelona/Liverpool-level fast and skilled to find a way through.

It just wasn't our day.
I get all that, and me and the boy were not happy.
But I am sorry but some of the hysteria on here (not you, obvs) and indeed malice and malcontent, is laughable.
I spent about a minute on NSC last night then went back to the telly.

OK, fair enough.
I formally expunge you from my little black book

Is it “entitled” to point out we’ve been shit at home for a couple of years at this stage? At home is where most of our fans watch us play, by definition.
Shit is much too harsh.
Disappointing, certainly.

But pointing out we are shit seems itself to be pointless to me.
Everyone who was there yesterday could see we were struggling against a horrible low block
and a mix of egregious time wasting and what turned out to be genuine injuries, all of which stopped our flow.

And that penalty which, MOTD reveals was a piece of shit-housery that went horribly wrong.

I am interested in patterns.
If I felt there is a pattern that says our manager is not up to the job, I would say so.
It is all very well pointing to our disappointing home form
But to be even-handed you have to consider our better than expected away form
And our position in the table, which is around the fourth best in out history at this stage in the season.
What ManU would give for that.

I hate false pattern recognition and the cherry-picking of items to inform a perverse narrative
I would imaging Tony Bloom is exactly the same
Albeit a million times better than me at it.

3 home wins all season is not entitled supporters most fans of most clubs would moan about it
But what about the 5 away league wins?

I suppose it is a measure of ambition and self-regard (in a good way) that people want more.
But it is how that desire is expressed.

I don't think that 'moaning' is particularly helpful
other than in the context of the perfectly reasonable role of a supporter as a passive recipient of thrills and entertainment.

As a supporter I am still not quite at eyebrow raising level yet
Did we try yesterday? Yes
Were we sloppy yesterday? Not as such
Did the manager try to change things around? Maybe, albeit perhaps not drastically enough
Did the opposition come for the points? No. They got a needlessly conceded penalty.

For the life of me I simply cannot yet start fomenting discontent.

Change of manager and stop f***ing around at the back and get stuck into the opposition.
This is the sort of twattish post and schoolboy logic that triggered my various posts yesterday and today.
