Well I've got a friend who is a third year scholar , who said Roberto Martinez is following Solly around in a dustbin on wheels. And that Ronald Koeman is hiding in the shelter at Moulscoombe station with a bag of cash ready to pounce .

Don't be ridiculous.

I am still struggling! Could I have an example?

OK. You are on holiday to a place where you have never been before, walking down a street and suddenly have a feeling that you have been there before. Whether it is similar to another place or your brain thinks it has had similar vibes, You don't know. It's quite a weird feeling.

So algie and hans kraay fan club how about being an adult and explain why you disagree with an opinion instead of using the lazy thumbs down function.

What part of my comment do you disagree with or is that too difficult for you?

We'll see.........

You obviously know nothing and by saying "we'll see" every other post, you think your coyness will lead people to believe you have inside information. I can categorically state Bloom would not sell our best young talent in years for 500k. Stop attention seeking.

Can never quite understand why people ask such questions on NSC. Haven't they heard of Google?

I'll play. Do you think that scoring one goal is the benchmark for his fledgling career? Do you think it's fair to base his progression on a goal scored in a pre-season friendly?

Fair comment and it's welcome. That goal was so special he set his own benchmark.

I said he was a great prospect, which translated means that he is not the finished article, unless people think he is?

I think it's more of our inflated expectations of our young players - we did it with Robinson, we have done with Ince & JFC and now Solly - i don't think that one special goal makes a great player and i wouldn't think it fair to call that the benchmark - he's only done it once and we all know from Ryan Harley that one cracking goal means little.
I think we need to give him the time to mature and develop before we heap too much pressure on him (it's not directed at you, don't worry - more of a general thought). He's only 20 and had one season with the first team. I don't even know how he will fit into Sami's system on a first XI basis given how we have lined up in recent weeks...I can see him being used like KLL to stretch the game if we need that width, or if a side lines up very compact to disrupt our play.

I see him playing where Crofts played on Saturday. But not yet maybe. He appears at times to lack confidence and self-belief, which might come with a bit more experience.

Yep, I agree, that's why I said I would eat my pants if Shampton wanted him.

Thanks for playing by the way :)

Now, now.

You posted <words to the effect> that it was a ludicrous suggestion that Southampton would want him.

In my opinion, Southampton ARE at the very least 'watching his progress'. My thumbsdown was the lazy way of showing my disagreement with your statement.

Did I read he was seeing a back specialist today but the thought is that it is a mental rather than medical problem.

So where has it ever been said that it is a mental problem. Talk about spreading Football Rumours.:ffsparr:

No agenda at all. You said you'd EAT your PANTS if Saints were interested. That suggests you feel it unlikely, no?
