Oi I do the fishing round ere 😁.

What a game today for Solly. Good for him. But as for DW, we score 4 goals today and he still can’t get one himself 🤨😘

I've got more chance of catching a 20lb bass than Southgate picking Speedy Gonsolly.
I agree, little chance he will get a plaice in the WC squad.

I thought he looked excellent today. Add some goals and assists to his game and he will be brilliant.

He was really good and helped by GP poor tactics and choice of personnel. With Cucurella playing narrow and Sterling not capable of tracking back he had an ocean of space to cause havoc which he grabbed with both hands. I was also surprised that he had the pace to simply run past Cucurella who I always thought was very speedy, but he had him on toast.

He was my player of the match.

I thought he had the game of his life yesterday. Roasted Cucurella, huge defensive headers, winning headers all over the pitch, showing great strength in challenges.
He’s had a good season so far (I’m sure I saw a stat of him right at the top of the creating chances table) and seems to just be getting better all the time.
He’s been a favourite of mine for a long time now. I was surprised when I heard Adrian Durham big him up a few years ago, as I thought nobody outside the club had noticed him. If we had a decent England manager, he’d certainly have had a call up by now, even if he’d not made the starting 11.

Cucurella would have been up all night having nightmares about solly running at him against a backdrop of boos. He was outstanding yesterday
To be pedantic, if he was up all night, I.e. awake, he would not have nightmares as you only get them while asleep.

But, I would think Potter will need to use all his knowledge of emotional intelligence to prevent Cucurella from developing PTSD about the battering he took from our Solly.

Not many of his detractors will like what RDZ is saying in the Argus today
I’m not a March detractor and agree with De Zerbi on this with the exception of one aspect (shooting) of Solly’s game which remains League One class or lower. Despite this, it seems he is ‘first on the team sheet’ with RDZ which again, I have no issue with.

He has always had it in him when he believes in himself. Saturday he knew he had the better of Cucurella from the start. He does get in good positions in the area perhaps a bit of Italian coaching can get him scoring.

It's quite funny to watch Solly during the move for our first goal.

When he plays it inside to Trossard at the beginning he kind of throws his hands up that he doesn't get it back again as he breaks into space. In fairness, I think Trossard did intend to return it to him but mis-controlled the ball.

Then as we break into the box with Mitoma and Trossard, he's in the middle shouting for the ball to come his way.

Finally as Trossard slots home, he wheels away in celebration.

It's great to see him so full of confidence, wanting the ball and to be involved as much as possible.

I'm not 100% sure of this but if it's at all humanly possible March actually looks quicker than I've ever seen him, even before his bad injury, now this may or may not be the case but it bloody well looks like it, however I do know I've got more chance of catching a 20lb bass than Southgate picking Speedy Gonsolly.

I thought this as well, he definitely looks quicker

seems like De Zerbi really rates him as well

Fantastic to see Solly in this kind of form. Always been a hardworking and likeable lad but I wasn't convinced he'd become a regular starter as we climbed the Prem. He's got amazing natural ability and I suspect he's someone who coaches love working with because he keeps on improving. Delighted for him, and for us.
