Probably the proverbial storm in a teacup (as always) however;

According to various sauces, Internet and high frequency radio, and GPS service could be interrupted in some areas and magnetic changes could effect migrating birds and marine animals like whales that navigate using magnetic fields, possibly leading to beaching.
Northern Lights could be visible from many places in UK.
I shall keep any eye on the sky this evening but not holding my breath for anything spectacular.
