North Stand CHAT offers you a clue. I've every right to express my views on here. Sorry if I don't say the 'right' things.

I believe the last night of the proms should feature rap and drill music, led by Stormzy and that people of colour should receive discounted entry and that every performer should 'take the knee' in honour of the poor guy disgracefully and racially killed by the American police. The coverage should be fronted by Winston Silcott.

You're new here, aren't you? Have you tried the Bear Pit yet? I think you'd really enjoy it.

Micah Richards is superb and Clinton Morrison is good also. He suffers from being paired with the brown-tongued Jim White, who cannot stand anyone interfering with his sychophantic drivel.

If we are going to have a lady on Soccer Saturday, please let it be Alex Scott, rather than Sue Smith, who tries WAY too hard

Also prefer Alex Scott as shes a decent bit of skirt, Sue Smith is not. If we have to put up with bird pundits at least make sure they are good looking.

It's the Jeff Stelling show really. The rest are just extras. They've not cancelled the show FFS.

I'm sure they'll be alright, nothing wrong with a refresh after well over a decade of the same line up.

Someone had suggested Chris Hughton, but they decided against him for fear of him losing it on live TV, what with his violent outbursts and tantrums.

Got to agree if they put women on there . Let’s hope they are lookers and half decent pundits .

Alex Scott ain’t bad to look at

The thing is with Soccer Saturday is it is blokish. Let's not beat about the bush but you know when a goal has been scored and you work it out by who shouted. Jeff Stelling will have to rely on his screen to get the update as Scott, Smith and the likes will be too polite to go mental. If you are ready to accept a dumbing down of GSS that's fine but I want it much as it is now (that said I'm normally at an Albion match anyway) Say what you like, for me the regular crew had it spot on. You realise this when the reserve team is wheeled in for the weeks when there is no PL. This is what's coming

Chill out neilbard. Do we really want to see that kind of outpouring of emotion on our televisions before the 9pm watershed?

Definitely this. I rarely go to away matches, and my usual Saturday when The Albion are away involves sitting down in the front of the tellybox watching Soccer Saturday, and writing off my bets one by one as they go belly up. Not looking forward to any "dumbing down" of it.

You are getting all worked up about a hypothetical situation whereby a woman may or may not appear on Soccer Saturday.

A woman will. That's a given. The same way Sky axed Botham and Gower for some bird who has played park cricket, but hey she ticks 2 boxes so that's all good then.

He scored more goals in his career than Merson and made more international appearances.

I would hope so - he was a striker! He played for the ROI because was nowhere near good enough for England - same as Cascarino. Or at least that is how I see it.

I am sure Clinton is a nice enough guy but my word he is awful pundit...

I like the gambling/pisshead input from Nicholas and Merson .... such crap pundits, barely audible .... just for the comedy value.

The programme doesn’t take itself seriously.
Yeah I agree that Merson has some merit in the mould you describe for sure, in that he's actually entertaining in his shitness.

Le Tiss is my favourite non Albion (except for Case's testimonial) player of all time but his unpredictability as a player is only surpassed by his pedestrianism as a pundit. Nice choice in women though.

I just fail to see why people are getting titsy about all this.

This. If it became purely serious punditry with respected football writers and always serious students of the game (Danny Mills and Lee Dixon), it would lose all sense of fun and incompetence.
