Trossard said "I still have a contract with Brighton until the summer of 2023. Will the big six come knocking for me at Brighton? We will see. If I really feel ready for that step up, I’ll get into it, but I realise every day I’m not bad at Brighton.”
I read that as.........I'm good enought for top 6, if they don't come my agent will contact them this summer and BHA must sell before I become worthless in 2023.
He later said in response to the "listen to offers" interview in Le Soir
..."It was a bit out of context. I didn’t say I’d listen to offers," he said. "I just said you never know what happens in football. I am happy to listen to Brighton as well. We will see in the summer. I’m still here, I’m happy here so let’s finish the season well first and then we will see what the future brings."
Potter said "You have got to respect players that have lives and careers and families. Of course they have got to keep all things open for them, I have no problem with that at all. Leo is very committed to us, we are committed to him"
