He has identified that we have shit players, and needs new ones in January.

-Got us a TV win against Southampton, putting many players in the shop window with performances that would seem to belie their current form (i.e. increased the price tag on some of our players for the managers/clubs that are too lazy/economic/cheap to hire a decent scouting system)
-Got us into the third round of the FA Cup.
-Brought in a keeper better than smith, who can take quite a bit of credit for our last four points.
-got us trying to pass the ball on the ground (which many fans were calling out for earlier this season)
-given us a name manager to set us up for the next transfer window, put us in a good position to attract some players who may see Poyet as a reason to come (this one is unproven as yet, but the theory is there)
-Helped the fans and the board see that the manager isn't the problem, hopefully leading to him having time and finances to build his team.
-Given the club a manager who has the chairman fully behind him.

I doubt any teams would rely on one or two games to make a decision on a player and even if they did they are hardly likley to pay top whack considering they cant/wont pay for proper scouts.

Proved that alot of brighton fans were wrong about Slade/Booker/White being the problem.

Out of interest what exactly were you expecting to happen? We're still short of the players we needed anyway, so until that changes were you really so naieve to expect the team to suddenly turn into chelsea overnight?

Notice this with alot of your threads - you never suggest anything constructive. Some would say its attention seeking, trying to prove what a clever little boy you are, others would say its a bit sad really.

He's been a bit unfortunate having 2 games a week against mainly top teams. The first time he had a clear midweek the practice pitches were covered in snow.

Poyet is very intelligent and can't be judged on what he has inherited, the man has already stated and been blunt about what he wants and what he will do.:D
