The old fishermans oilskin smocks are the only thing ive ever found to be totally waterproof,mind you you look a right james hunt in bright yellow rubbers and a sowester unless your actually working on a trawler!!

Massive waterproof coat, gloves and water proof trousers
Not that any of it worked, the right side of my body was still soaked through, socks and gloves drenched right through. Even got a puddle inside my right sleeve by my elbow, weird, I may have looked like a dick, but I wasnt nearly as wet as people around me, and it was soon dry in the warmth and safety of the pub

About 10 of us stewards got soaked rihjt through to our boxers and then had to go straight down the brighton centre and work the gig.It was so bloody uncomfortable,got in at 2am still wet and had a nice hot bath.

I wish I'd got out of my sick bed yesterday & coughed my germs over the lot of you.
no we are already ill since we were hard and didn't wear waterproofs so there!

You're wrong there actually. During the time I was deceased (about the duration of the match), a glamourous assistant continually hosed my limp body with icey water & opened all the windows up!
Thankfully, I was wearing my jeans & an Albion top: so it was almost identical to the proper hard supporters innit
