It’s my home. It’s where I feel the most comfortable. I have travelled a lot and have seen many places that look better, where people in general have a better standard of living, But when things are normal we have so much to do here, nowhere is too far to get to a beach, there is always some sport going on and constant concerts where the biggest bands play, partly because this land has produced some of the greatest bands and artists of all time and it’s their home as well.

Good old fashioned Cafes. Maybe doesn't make me feel "proud" as such but it's one of those things that I love about Britain. Nowhere in the world I've been quite gets it right like we do. Even greasy spoons in Spain run by Brits just doesn't quite cut it.

How nice to sit in a no frills cafe with numbered breakfasts, shit cutlery and decent people? A number 1 with extra black pudding, mug of tea and a tropical Rio please. How many hangovers have been killed or cured with the trusted British cafe!

Our entrepreneurial spirit - drafting in Samoans, South Africans, Tongans, Australians, Caribbean nationals and others into our national cricket and rugby teams, thereby allowing real English players to crack on doing other things.

You’ve sneaked the bit about statues in there, hoping nobody would notice
It does remind me though to add arts and culture to my list, particularly outdoor Shakespeare with a picnic and a bottle of red.

Hold on there fella, wasn't some of Shakespeare's work a tad racist and sexist? 'The Merchant of Venice' for one.

Where do we draw the line?

A Sunday Roast
Lamb hot pot
Sussex Pond Pudding
Steak and Kidney Pudding

It's too easy to be rude about British Food., and I speak as a Francophile.
