Turkey put a £1 on Brighton to win 0-1 away at Palace, the goal to come in the second half and Paul McShane to be the goalscorer.

He won loads! About £700 I think?

unlikely, the goal in the second half bit wouldn't have been accepted by any of the majors, this bet would have paid, £200 tops

I had McShane & 1-0 that night as well, paid about 350/1

This Seasons bet is Bruno 1-0

Bless you for giving me the opportunity to tell you about this one.

Two weeks ago, when I didn't go to Blackpool, I had 50p on the goal rush coupon

For some reason I chose the first eight games in the fourth division where both teams would NOT both score.

After watching the Albion on live stream in the Blue Lagoon, the pub emptied, while I hunng on watching "final score".
When the result I was waiting for was confirmed, Chesterfield 0 Barnet 1, I was cheering and getting some very funny looks. I mean who cares? right?

That 50p betting slip was cashed in at Ladbrokes an hour later for £183.70

That was a 367/1 eight timer. My biggest ever win for a 50p stake

Won £200+ a few years back betting on Miss World. Said on the radio that "Miss Aruba is worth a poke each way".
Made me laugh so I put £2 ew at 100-1 and she won :)

A good friends son bet £10 on grand national and won £7. Decided it was not worth withdrawing he played on the arcade games on Ladbrokes online. Won £65. Withdrew £50 and left £15 in to play with. After 10 mins playing he got lucky and won the jackpot - £220,000!! Spoke to him recently and he was saying he only played on the games because it was not worth withdrawing his grand national money - had the horse he bet on come first not second he would have been happy with the £30 odd he would have won!

Funny how time plays tricks!

Yep, just shy of £300 quid then! Not bad off a pound!

Turkey had £2 on it and won £570. IIRC he bought a PSP and a shed load of beer.
