I've said all along the reason for the sleeves being a bit shite was because some marketing type has convinced the club they will make logos more pronounced.

I think they might have a point!

Oh dear.

:nono:

Yes, I know it helps fill the coffers ( El Presidente any idea what sort of income this may generate? I have no clue what the going rate is), but, really?

Wow glad I got a shirt before that becomes standard issue.

'Supporters will be able to have the branding applied to their shirts for free from Monday 18th September*, either in the Seagulls Superstore at the Amex, or at the JD store in Churchill Square, Brighton.'

Really? Is anyone ACTUALLY going to go out of their way to do that???

Couldn't we have stuck out for Sports Direct? We need Mike Ashley on board.......

....... only joking - hopefully obviously.

It's free. Why not? If people are into accuracy, they will need to.

Jeez that's a bit naff isn't it? I accept that this kind of commercialism comes with the territory we're now in but I'd have hoped the club might have held out for something a bit classier than that

I was wondering about that. Perhaps the PL logo was only ever on the right arm, and is still there? Again, dunno.

See post 2, by the Gripper.

Chavtastic? Maybe, but some of our fand are chavs. And if they want to......... why not.

Pesonally, I prefer the polo shirt approach anyway - more low key.

Why all the negativity around JD Sports ? Or are people getting their JD Sports confused with their Sports Direct ?
