ironic thing is I'm going through a bout of sleep paralysis it at the moment because I'm going through a really stressful period...It's worse in the mornings at the moment.

Sometimes you dread going to sleep because of the paralysis!

Had this loads of times and scared the shit out of me when I was younger.... felt like I was being sat on and immobilised by a demon!! I tried to scream but could make no sound! Since I found out what it is and how it works... I quite look forward to it... like a roller coaster!!

can be a good launch into lucid dreams....but i know who have suffered from it.

if you get a pressure on your solar plexus area, then you are in the astral realms my friends.....
the scientific answer to this is sooo lame, check out dion fortunes' pyschic self defence book and wise up to astral energies.

pm me for more info along these lines....i just helped someone out recently with this.

Not quite as bad but last night I slept on my foot weirdly and in that semi state of waking I was convinced I couldn't move it as it was so numb. Took about 30 seconds to get it going and when I tried to walk to the toilet on it my leg buckled. Hope this helps.

In summary then, you are comparing a dead leg with Sleep Paralysis. Like comparing a hangover with a brain tumor.
