and remove White, Hinshelwood and Booker make Forster part of the coaching set up and bring in Gary Speed and one other. I like Slade and want him to succeed, time to follow Huddersfield's example and re-structure coaching set up to move the club forward

Does Slade have the final say in any of this, if such a scenario ever occurred? I thought it would've been up to Bloom and the board.

The Scotish Git a Manchester United

Sir Alex was given one more game many years ago then it all changed. Looking in to my Crystal ball I can see Lord Russell of Slade leading our beloved Albion to european glory, numerous premierships and FA cup wins....
Oh the alarm clock has just gone off, back to the real world.

What's happened to Tony Bloom btw? I'm beginning to think the bloke I saw on the mic at the Fan's Forum was, in fact, a hologram. ???

Taken from the 'Bloom has passed first test' article in todays Argus.

"His(Slade's) detractors have short memories. Thanks to him Albion are hosting Hartlepool on Saturday, not Accrington Stanley.

The pace of change at the club has been frantic, not just in terms of turnover of players but the entire footballing structure of the club.

That process is ongoing. Strengthening the coaching resources remains a priority for Slade after he lost out in this respect to a League One rival in the summer. "
Wonder who that was?

Wilkins brought in chapman and we saw a turn around. Perhaps White and Booker's problem isn't that they aren't up to it, perhaps they just are understaffed, and we don't need to get rid of them, we just need to give them more support (as in man power, not as in fans cheering them)

Dean White and Bob Booker are the heartbeat of this club, they deserve better and anyone thinking the removal of them will lead to an end to our dissapointing form is deluded.

I Don't know whether you joking or not but I completely agree, they are the club scapegoats, nobody has any proof they are not good coaches especially seen as dozens of managers have chose to keep them on.

I'm pretty sure both of them have Uefa coaching badges as well.

I am deadly serious Wizard. Everyone needs to share in the responsibility for our poor form, it annyos me that after a defeat we seem to have at least half a dozen threads demanding the removal of two of Albions most loyal and hardworking staff.

Agree 100% the abuse the 2 of them get (White in particular) is ridiculous. Slade chose to keep them here during the summer (as have previous managers) so why people can't accept that fact is beyond me. We have no idea what goes on behind the scenes on the training ground

If the sentence in bold is correct that suggests to me that 1 if not both would not have been here still IF our target had joined us rather than a rival club

:lolol: oh, you funny little begger 8/10.

you cant actually be serious, because while there might be a case for White, Booker is nothing but a prop for MA, one that didnt work out for him either.

scape goats? well, its either Slades team/tactics, the coaching, or the players, most of whom have played competently at higher level. or we are were you expected, fighting relegation. again.

Really? I seem to recall Bob Booker being the Asst Manager when we won the Third Division. And the Second Division under Taylor. And for the Play-Offs under McGhee.

And is someone Slade wants around.

I like DW and BB, but i think we need more man power... get in some one competent at a level above this, like upper half of teh champo and we'll see an improvement imo.
