Really? I seem to recall Bob Booker being the Asst Manager when we won the Third Division. And the Second Division under Taylor. And for the Play-Offs under McGhee.

And is someone Slade wants around.

i confess i forgot he stayed on after MA left first time. i've always looked at the backroom as the common factor between a failing MA side and a failing Slade side. so, if Booker and White are to be backed, Slade is the problem? (again, unless one is happy with our form and league position).

I'm sure the reasons are many and varied.

I believe it's overly facile to pinpoint it at one particular issue or person.

I feel that it is problematic to have a coaching staff stay on when the manager goes and my reason for wishing to severe the relationship with DW, BB and MH is that they should have gone when Micky left and then Slade could of had a clean slate and would be able to take full responsibility for the position of the club. I believe these guys have served the club well and certainly am not anti- DW & BB but I believe we need fresh coaching staff with drive, a different perspective and set of ambitions. I worry that there is a lack of respect for the current coaches within the team. The poor discipline this season is a worry and the fact that none of Slade's signings have been sent off, that might be a coincidence but there might be a divide within the club which could end up with us being relegated. This is obviously my opinion and not based on professional knowledge and I could be completely wrong but I feel we need to change something and hope it isn't the manager
