[Albion] Sky sports: Villa interested in Biss

I think we'll still get £50m for him in the summer personally. He's quality and clubs want him. For the best players, the big clubs are still willing to pay big fees with 12 months left. I know it's a different level, but Real Madid allegedly bid €250m for Mbappe when he only had a year left

I agree with this. With plenty of clubs interested, it should keep his transfer fee honest. Same situation with Ben Diaz: He’s only got 18 months left, but I’ve no doubt that if Blackburn don’t get promotion this year that he’ll be off to one of the mid-lower premier league clubs for the usual 20-30m that you pay for a top Championship striker.

Looks like Luiz could leave Villa paving the way for Bissouma ?

Arent they already close to signing a centre mid from Italy? Sure I read a deal was very close for them.

Apparently not - they enquired 2 weeks ago but didn’t go back

Please not Villa, they are a direct rival.

Spurs would show a lack of ambition from the player and I ****ing hate Manure.

No win situation unless we are getting £50m+ from an 18 month contract.

If Twitter is anything to go by a colossal bidding war is likely to break out tomorrow - Villa, Spurs, Arsenal, Man U all potentially in the frame. Given he’s very likely to go in the summer anyway, cashing in now if there is a ridiculous bid probably makes sense (as much as it’ll hurt to see him go).

Certainly gaining traction on Twitter. I don’t think we’ll sell him but I’ll be happy when 2300 rolls around tomorrow.

If he has made it clear that he is not signing another contract with us, I’d prefer the £50m to the 18 months and him walking off on a free thanks.

We weren’t too shabby against Chelsea’s Kante and Jorginho at the Amex without him.

I watched Caicedo vs Brazil a few nights ago, some astonishing interceptions and tackles that Biss would be proud of, we won’t have to wait too long for him to be up to speed in the EPL I think.

At the next transfer window Bissouma will only have a year left on his contract.

I reckon an average poker player would cash in tomorrow for £40m.

But then there are poker players, and there are world class poker players.

I think it’ll go to a last minute shitshow on Sky sports News.

Don’t think this would be trending to this extent if he or the club hadn’t given at least some sign of encouragement.

Really hope not - we’re having a great season and selling two first choice players in this window isn’t a great look.

Well yeah £50m and a deal is there to be done. Rumours at the moment mention €45m. What’s going on with fees being quoted in euros atm?

What exactly has Gerrard done that is impressing some of you so much? Is winning the Scottish Premiership in a two horse race when one of the horses was lame what convinced you?

I have not seen anything that makes the massive hype about him convince me that he deserves the outstanding manager plaudits being bandied around

Convince me

Any thoughts now ? Tactically did us today and seemed to be able to get a performance out his team - who spent an extra 45mins stuck on a coach trying to get to the ground ..,

Gerrard has twice has given Potter a lesson. Send Albion down hopeless cul-de-sacs, destroy us on the counter.

Cigars and deckchairs out whilst Albion snails pass it around the back.
