Any thoughts now ? Tactically did us today and seemed to be able to get a performance out his team - who spent an extra 45mins stuck on a coach trying to get to the ground ..,

Hmm, a rather fortuitous goal gave Villa the lead. Did I think Gerrard’s tactics won them the game? Nope it was our players inability to take some very good chances that was the difference. You could see the confidence carry on draining from us as the game went on. It started in the second half at United. If you are blaming Potter for Ali Mac and Welbeck missing decent chances then yes he was out thought by Gerrard

I thought the ref was absolute shite and let Villa get away with some very thuggish behaviour, again if that’s a good tactic in your eyes fair enough.

Villa with a massive spend on quality players in the summer and January and the rub of the green against a team that has looked very low on confidence since half time at United does not make Gerrard a genius imo. They have also been on a shit run recently, why is that do you think?
