Thought I read previously he wasn’t keen on Villa as had top 4 ambitions? If he’s on the move I expect it to be to one of those type of clubs in the summer.

I know.

With an unlimited budget behind him, I bet Howe’s looking at Bissouma.

In an instant, they’d have a top half midfield.

But hope our best players never head to the Sportswashers.

What I meant is their rumour is worth less than the toilet paper I had to use this morning following my Jalfrazi last night.

I can’t see him going to Spurs. He is after regular Champions League football. Arsenal are about to blow all their beans on a Serb striker so I don’t think they’ll be making another £50m+ signing this year. He’ll go abroad to somewhere like PSG if he doesn’t end up at Liverpool, Citeh, Manure or Chelsea. I think Manure are the favourites to swoop for him as he is a level or two up on Fred & McTominay.

Agreed, but I wouldn't rule out City or Liverpool either.

I know.

I normally avoid the tabloids on football rumours. But the nsc genuine expert on the papers and football writers recently took umbrage with that stance of mine …. praising many of their “award winning” hacks. Didn’t like my dichotomy of BBC/broadsheets versus Sky/tabloids on football gossip.

If we wanted £50 million from Villa, then it should be £60 million from Saudi Utd, lets test their wallet

He will end up at Liverpool. They are a side that negotiate very well behind the scenes. They have a large Global Profile which is what will attract Bissouma.

I don't think Man City would move for him. Comes with a few behind the scenes issues that Guardiola wouldn't put up with.

But Liverpool for sure I think would be the best shout. Would he quality for latter rounds of CL if he went there ?

If Biss didn’t have his recent alleged, serious allegations hanging over him - He’d already be anchoring their midfield. He’s that good. So Liverpool are the obvious next destination and he’d be fabulous for them too

I was once told " If the man a across the road offers you a penny more take it "
It's been a pleasure to watch him play for us but fans are here for the long term whilst players come and go.

The person who told you that was a fool. Go where your heart tells you is a much more reliable way of pursuing contentment.

Yves will probably go, I think he'll go in this window, but Villa are the stalking horse for the proper bids from the proper clubs

Given our performances over the last number of games without Biss, I do feel now is the time to let him go so we can develop the squad during the 2nd half of the season without fear of relegation rather than it disrupting our start into next season

People have started to realise just how good he is. If he goes to Liverpool he will be discussed as kante’s equal. Possibly better. He is ridiculously good.

Don’t forget the recent run has not only been without bissouma but without Dunk too. It is mind blowing how far we have come.

I very much doubt it.
Would you turn down more money for doing the same job ?

If it were me and I was comfortable where I was, felt adequately rewarded and wasn’t too sure about where I was going, quite possibly yes I would.

It would depend on the lure of where he might go - European football? Players he already knows or admires? Management he felt would do well by him?
