This is going to be one of those disaster signings where everything suddenly all goes wrong for Boro and Rhodes. This, sadly for Boro, is how football really works.

Not sure if you're right on that but Jordan certainly needs around 10 goals and Boro need promotion for this to be a success.

I'm still lost with how they have joined?

Why would he need 10 goals, we probably wont even concede another 10 goals. Wishful thinking from you lot, You've had your 5 mins of fame now jog on

and you've had what, 6 or so years to get out of this league? The way you've spent, it's this year or bust.

I love it when people act like smart arses but don't have a clue.
You see that person that's acting like a smart arse, but doesn't have a clue. That's you that is.

The piece you've quoted isn't even about the Championship. Try reading something about the Championship:
http://www.football-league.co.uk/news/article/2015/championship-financial-fair-play-2867176.aspx

Read that and you'll see that the permitted losses for 2015/2016 are £13m, and that money clubs made the season before (your cup run last year and play-off final money) don't count for this year.

Oh and Downing took a pay cut to come home.
He's still on £35k.

So you've made a bit of a fool of yourself. The only question that remains, is whether or you can take it on the chin and apologise.

Oh do your homework, we had our 5 minutes of fame back in 1983.

Nah you're still wrong pal and still being a smart arse, we're not in any risk.
You've just posted a link that completely contradicts your earlier incorrect post, and ratifies my post. Your new link talks of the UEFA limits, for clubs qualifying for UEFA competitions, like the Champions League. It then talks about the championship, and the current £13m permitted loss I said. Note that I'm not guaranteeing 'boro have broken the FFP rules, I don't know the detailed accounts, but I am correcting you on the amount of losses allowed, and your belief that income last season will help you this season, which it won't.

The only thing you're right about, is that I'm a smart-arse, but then that's a luxury afforded to those who know they're right.

Like I said, the only question that remains, is whether or you can take it on the chin and apologise. Sadly, it's looking like you can't.

Considering that his local rags report, that he's just linked, says
That leaves Boro probably with about a £7m FFP window to play with, depending on how any spending is structured.
It will be interesting to see if they can stay under this seasons limits. Even more so when reported transfer fees paid and received are already at a £10.175m deficit. That's even before taking into account signing on fees and an even bigger increase in the wage bill.

The thing is sunbeam, my main point was that we haven't breached any FFP rules and no other point really matters.

If you walk to the shop but stop off at your mates first, you still went to the shop; know what I'm saying shun?

And what's with this creepy need to be right and have some gadgie that you've never met apologise and admit that you were right? That my smart arsed friend needs addressing professionally.

But to save your sanity, I'm sorry I was ill informed about the three year spread.

The rest I'm clinging onto.......it's all I have :'(
