I alone work with 3 people that no longer use it, other means of getting their TV use.
See, I do believe that people who claim this, never sit down in front of their TVs and watch Eastenders or Match of the Day.

I find it less believable that they never use the iPlayer, never listen to Radio 1, or 5 live, or Radio 6, never listen to a BBC podcast, and never visit the BBC website.

The number of those watching Domestic TV is falling.
I have had a small number of people who say (rather beligerently) they don't use the bbc. But then reference listening to 5live, or a podcast, or bbc iplayer.

That's their choice if they really don't use it. In which case they don't need to pay. No need for a licence. In which case they have nothing to complain about

Do we know what his predecessor will be paid?

I'd do it for 50k a year and steak and chips with garden peas, with some banoffee pie to finish off, while sitting with the sound men in the BBC canteen.
Don't sell yourself short. Hold out for some onion rings, half a grilled tomato and a portobello mushroom (give that to your agent).

You have a point but the mushrooms in particular might put my job at risk when the Courtney the dinner girl gets to see how privileged I am. She will be straight on tiktok, chasing her fame and fortune. If I go that route I'd might just ask her to batter my sausage instead.

I'm sorry Mr Jenas, we cannot consider your application at this time...

When you consider the effort from the non-dom owned press barons make to discredit the Beeb, its surprising there isn't more opposition to it
