That's quite a decent claim to fame! - that's not all he's written by a long chalk...

You can tell him I thought the House of Silk captured the Conan Doyle style excellently, and I must have read all of the Holmes stories at least half a dozen times.

I will pass it on. He’s married to my cousin, and very honoured to have been asked to write books for both Sherlock Holmes and James Bond!

I'm 57 now - and probably first read them when I was about 12. Quite easy to forget the ending if you've not read it for six/seven years!
