Simon Rodger
Sadly Simon has decided to call it a day on his career. A year ago he ruptured his cruciate ligament and despite several operations he has been unable to regain full fitness. He has a rare condition called "cyclops" which is where blood blisters appear on the inside of the knee and prevent the healing process.

I'm sure you will join with me to wish him the very best for the future.

That's sad news... I would have loved to see him in the stripes again.

Best wishes for the future. :clap2:

Oh yes i will Brighton Rock. Sorry to hear this news. We loved him at Selhurst and was a shame he had to go.

Rodger was quality. Retiring only two years after he came to us as well.

(Hoping this is a wind up)

:( :(
What a way to end your career jolly. Cruciate damage and being an Albion player. How sad us Eagles feel for you right now.

A shame, but considering the injury and his age, hardly surprising. In his short time at Withdean, he played his part in the (almost successful) survival bid two seasons ago.

The day Simon Rodger played his last game was the day Jake Robinson played his first.

The way things are going it is not out of the question for Jake Robinson to be sold to Crystal Palace.
