I gave up 15 years ago. I don't miss them now.
I remember how enjoyable it was, then, to light up, especially with a pint. It would be hypocritical of me to slag off smokers now.
Not sure if an all out ban in public places would be enforceable.
I'm all for Live and Let Live (or is that Live and let die?)
However, I do feel that ALL pubs/clubs should have non smoking areas/bars for those who don't want to endure other people's ciggy fumes. I know when I come back from our club on a Friday night, my clothes smell as if they'd had 15 fags!
Does anyone know if there is a pub where smoking is banned ?
