I like most of the suggestions but, unless I've missed it, no one has focused on a very important point. The crust - the shortcrust pie pastry - must be right or the whole thing fails.

Who needs a spork when you can just use a good, thick, homemade chip
I hope we are getting good, thick, homemade chips... although the homemade may be a step too far
I don't think we're having chips. Something about elf and safety cooking chips inside a stadium?
Another vote for balti pie here.
Yes from me. The Balti pie at Walsall social club was spot on with soggy chips n beans. The one I had at County was too dry. Please note.
I had the pasty at County - the crust was Ok but the filling not that good. For a top pie or pasty, both elements must be spot on.
