There have been far more ups than downs and I have no doubt that you were instrumental in saving this club

The word legend is often over-used in sport, not so in this case. Dick Knight a GENUINE LEGEND, arguably one of the most important figures in the club's history. Thanks for everything Dick.

Given his achievements, a case for saying the best chairman of a football league club ever, bar none. Look how so many other clubs just haven't recovered from being basket cases.

We'd be looking at old books and old videos and weeping with nostalgia about a club that is no more but for you, thanks Dick.
Knight the Knight that's what I say.

You saved this club when it was on its knees, the word legend is used too often in daily life now but you have earnt it big time. I thank you for all the last 12 yrs or so, good times and bad, what a time weve had, havent we and perhaps the best is yet to come. What a legacy you will leave, what a man. You should feel deservedly proud of yourself. Arise, Sir Knight!

Dick, you are a star and a credit to Hove Grammar and grey bearded old men everywhere. Thanks for everything.

It's a pity that you made the odd mistake because as we all know nobody on NSC EVER makes a mistake but never mind.

Take it easy and sit in the sun and become a bad fan like the rest of us exiles. And I would like to propose that you should be the one to complain and kick ass when Seagulls World goes wrong.

Thanks for everything and if you think that Tony Bloom is the right man to take the Albion forward then that's good enough for me.

Club saviour and a decent bloke too, he will never be forgotten. Hopefully we will name a stand in his honour, Life President is the least he deserves.

I can remember the feeling of genuine despair that there was literally nothing and no-one around to save a small football club without a ground in '96-97 only too well. But that feeling was wrong.
