True greats ahieve when the chips are down, and that is just wat DK did. Saviour and legend.

RE Tony Bloom - just a thought but is he a front man for far east money as his business was / is far is gambling? If so then there could be some serious serious money coming the clubs way

This is not the place to dicuss the rights and wrongs of Dick Knight. If you dont like him, dont show your respects.

Top man. Saved the club and always said he would step aside should somebody with more money and the interests of the club, come in and I hope his judgement is right.

Thanks for our club Dick..

Thanks for all your efforts. You deserve a big chapter in the history of BHA. I hope they name a stand at Falmer after you - The Knight Stand (not the Dick Stand).

Proved right more often than not and never gave up on what often seemed like an impossible fight.

What part of Dick Tights spin don't you understand ? Why did Tight and the poodle insist the funding was in place when it is quite obvious that without Blooms cash the project was f***ed ?

you are a tool, Dick knight has been working with tony bloom for years he knew this money was coming, it was all about timing it right, so he did know the funding was secure. Now why dont you hop along to st marys as you are going to find life abit boring now with nothing to moan about

Whatever you may think of DK and some of his recent decisions, nobody can deny that he has rebuilt this club and left it in a very good position. You only have to look at the number of clubs now struggling to stave off or indeed going into administration to see what a good job he has done. We may not be rolling in money but we are a well run solid club with huge potential and in this time of recession not many clubs would be looking to build a fantastic new stadium. This is testament to a man/fan that loves the club as much as we all do (except Ernest obviously) DK you are indeed a legend.

Thank you Dick, if you hadn't stepped in when you did there would not be a stadium being built at Falmer regardless of who is funding it. You saved Brighton & Hove Albion from extinction and for that no true Albion fan will ever forget you.

When we lost the Goldstone, that has to be the darkest period of my long history supporting the Albion. As far as I am concerned DICK KNIGHT has achieved since then what many thought impossible. Not only has the club survived when others are in financial meltdown, we have a new stadium under construction. He is a saviour, a true legend.

Dick Knight has delivered on every promise (and more). Chairmen end up getting reviled by their fans, how many have lasted 12 years and still retain the affection of all the supporters (well, nearly all)?

Dick, you're a great man.

(and yes, we certainly should try to organise a NSC presentation to him)

Jeez, are you for real?? Did it not occur to you that a vital part of the funding was coming from the Blooms all along? And guess what: that's precisely what's happening. DK & The Board will fulfill their promise after all. It's patently obvious that you've allowed your personal prejudices to totally cloud your judgment of Dick's achievements at our club, so you just carry on spinning away in your bitter little world - whilst the rest of us thank the man for his great work in saving Brighton & Hove Albion FC & giving us a bright to future to savour.

Cheers Dick, you've done us proud.

Were it not for Dick Knight, we'd probably not be discussing Brighton & Hove Albion FC as a living entity here in 2009, and for that he deserves ultimate respect and thanks.
