Given the 50,000 new cases announced today, and this being before the predicted increase from the Christmas family events, I can see the Government announcing a new national lockdown on Thursday to save the NHS, or a new tier 5.
This will need to be a severe lockdown and along with schools staying closed I fear that all sport will need to be suspended.

Bloody hope so, we’re shocking.

In seriousness tho, yes. It needs a circuit breaker, even if to remind the plebs to stay indoors. Can’t tell them one thing and show another.

No. All the games are going to have to be played at some point ..........
No they don't. The season was quite rightly abandoned in 1939. It could happen again if needs must.
they can't cancel it .....................
........... but the Government can - and I'd agree the EPL and EFL would moan like f*** about it! (and the EEC can stop the Euros if circumstances warrant it).

Oh go on...what was it

Oh just some snarky comment on what I originally thought was the "are Albion fans entitled ?" thread, where I ventured that yes, we ARE entitled - to more than one win at home in a year.

It was unlikely to make the shortlist for Post of the Year was it.

Looks like a strict new national lockdown is well on the way. Elite sports cancelled, everyone forced to stay at home unless absolutely necessary and harsher penalties for those outside of their homes without a valid reason. Can't see the season restarting for several months, if at all.

Please. I can't stand another 90 minutes of looking good then losing, fart arsing about with the ball. Just end it now. By the way I want Potter to stay. Oh and close the flipping schools, they're rife with it in East London, even Reception and Year 1 kids. My daughters have managed 5 school days between them in 3 months, because kids in their classes keep catching Covid.

Covid19 levels going through the roof clubs having to postpone games players becoming infected helping to spread the virus, experts being asked if vaccines will be effective against the new mutated virus with each day that passes the response becomes less assured, do I think the season should be scrapped / put on extended hold YES

No. I have to work every ****ing day and I don’t get tested ever. **** them - I’ll have their money and sit at home and they can work for mine. Privileged wankers.
