Bang! And the dirt is gone.
I’m assuming XL Bully?
Yes they should all be rounded up and put down. I know we are an animal loving country but it’s going too far. It’s a dog. In this case it’s a wolf. If we found Wolves in parks next to kids playgrounds they would be shot. What’s the difference?
Or move the kids from the playground? Why should an animal (wolf) be destroyed because a human takes exception? I'm not making assumptions, or digging you out, but it's arguably this kind of attitude to nature and the natural world that has normalised some level of acceptance of the planet's and it's species destruction.

Just had to tell one of our nipper's friends why our nipper hasn't be going round her house all year.

The mother bought an XL-Bully or whatever they are called, just before end of last year. Attracted by news reports?

Without going into details (10 kids, three being 'home schooled', one after being expelled), one mustn't jump to conclusions, but...

We're not having our kid savaged. FFS.

People are strange.
The mother needs sterlising, let alone the dog.

Strict gun control came after the Hungerford massacre.
While we have a dangerous dogs act and a few breeds banned enough people have been killed or suffered life changing injuries since then that more draconian laws seem justified.
Expanding the topic while I love dogs I wouldn't have one because I live in a small house in a town and no one's free in the day to take it out. As far as I'm concerned if you need to get dog walkers in more often than not then you shouldn't have f***ing got one.
Wasn't it Dunblane rather than Hungerford where gun control became really strict?

Really? It's not nature though because these dogs have been bred for a purpose, they didn't just evolve!

Why? The kids have got a right to be there! It's a KIDS' playground, get it? Pit bulls/X bullies have got nothing to do with nature; they are unnatural breeds, bred by unspeakable humans to terrorise, hurt and kill - eradicate them, and the world will be a slightly safer place.

Pit bulls or XL bullies - same answer; exterminate. They serve no legitimate purpose and are a danger to the community. "It's not the dogs, it's the owners", some will say. Yes - so just look at the people who own one!
But aren’t some ‘allegedly’ more docile than others.
Genuinely don’t know…..

Exactly. Humans messng with nature, no? I understand eveything you mention. And you are right that children should obviously be protected from killer dogs (can't believe I feel the need to type that), and have the right to be in a playground. I was responding to a comment about a hypothetical wolf. Breeding/mutating animals who have no choice and then choosing to kill them is part of a similar approach, no? That we can do with nature what we want. Yes? And we can end up chasing our tails about who as a right to be there, can't we? As humans would have paved over the (hypothetical) playground and colonised the space that nature would have previously inhabited. And again, that is humans doing with nature whatever we feel like, without due care.

'more docile'. Interesting phrase to use, bit like saying a one bullet is more docile than another calibre!!
But, looking at those that are ‘pets’, and have the appropriate restraints when outside, aren’t they being managed properly or are their owners living in fear when indoors?

I don’t get the breed and as per my first post could vote either way of the first two options….

But dogs like the XL Bully are not one of the planet's natural species, it's been created by shit humans. It doesn't live in the wild, it's supposed to be a fighting dog. It's now being used as a pet and it's clearly not suitable for that role.

This is the fault of humans, but we can't undo what people have done and can't set up an enclave for them in Africa. They need to go.

Even if they didn’t have the predilection to kill I still will never understand why anyone would want this in their house.

As an aside you can see what looks to be a fully grown male is struggling and having to bend and brace their legs just to keep this monster under control.

"He's a lovely dog, a big softie. His name's Tyson. He loves babies and small children ... especially for breakfast."

Eradicate the dogs and the type of people who tend to own them as a macho 'hard man' status symbol on their sink estate. The dogs and their socially-inadequate chavvy owners tend to be anti-social, erratic in their behaviour, and thus prone to random outbursts of aggression and violence.

Get rid - eliminate with extreme prejudice.

If you don't mind me asking, how many of those kinds of people have you met?

I would be surprised if someone who uses derogatory language like 'sink estate' and 'chavy' - I, may be wrongly, assume you are generalising about all working class people - comes into contact enough to make an informed judgement.

Yes, I know. You are going to tell me you are specifically referring to XL bully owners, and you know many of them.
