Should Gus have fielded his strongest eleven??

It didnt work at Northampton or at home to Leyton Orient. I know he wanted to rest key players and thats fair enough but now we have an extra fixture midweek after a long trip to Hartlepool.

Should he keep faith with the same starting eleven for the replay??

Keep the same eleven for the replay. The FA Cup lost its charm and magic an age ago, it seems to me. I'd much rather concentrate on the brilliant possibility of promotion and give some of the second eleven a chance to shine when given a chance like this.

Same here. I'm really not bothered about the draw with Woking. It will give the team a kick up the backside. I would rather us get promoted.

It was a bit of a half hearted effort from Gus. Strange subs, Murray off for example, and he barely stood up or looked interested all through the game. I'm surprised he didn't order Brezovan to drop the ball in his own net when it was obvious we weren't going to score. This is clearly the worst result for Poyet.

Can't believe how bad the regular players were too. Really hope Dicker gets back in the groove for Saturday. Barnes, Calde, Painter and Sparrow were pretty terrible too.

Indeed. I was almost thinking Gus wanted us to lose when he took Murray off. Real lack of motivation from Poyet today. Shame he doesn't put the effort into the FA Cup that he does a league game. Oh well, roll on Hartlepool

We weren't exactly a poor side.... most of the changes were for other first team regulars. We had a strong enough line-up to beat Woking but didn't play very good tactically.

If we had played with some wingers and stretched the play we probably would have tired them and made a few more chances, we looked dull with Bennett

Easy to blame the reserves, but a lot of your first choicers were the ones having an off day. Murray woeful, and Painter got skinned by their right winger on every counter-attack. Calderon didn't fare much better. Can't believe this was the same (60% of a) side that gibboned us up at The Valley. I guess Gus may have passed on a the-league-is-all-that-matters mentality to the players. Hats off to Woking. Can't believe they are struggling in the BSS given the paciness of their counter attacking...

Very true. Gus' attitude towards this game was clear from the how little he stood shouting on the touchline. Think I saw him once in the second half.
