The hardest 48 hours of my life, but I live in hope.
Positive vibes from Herr Tubthumper. Fingers crossed.

Thinking of you Boroseagull and all others who have been personally affected.
Although I am now back in Kenya I am amazed what impact this has had on me. I had nightmares on Saturday night about this and a rather restless sleep last night too. Anyone else experiencing this?
Obviously you haven't heard from your brother, do you know which friend he was going with, and can anyone help with getting an update? The hardest 48 hours of my life, but I live in hope.

Haven't posted anything thus far, but seeing Facebook over the past few days has really got to me. The degree of separation between me and those involved in this is way too small. BHA fans, friends of friends. It's just bloody awful.
The air crash investigators and crowd safety specialists on this thread should maybe consider piping down a little bit. It's making you all look very inconsiderate.

You check you immediate family and closest friends are clear of it, but you simply don't contact everyone you know or knew.

Yes, I woke up a couples of times both nights, as my mind replayed the video images I'd seen online; once awake, I struggled to get back to sleep.
I'm nowhere near Shoreham (although am originally from Lancing), and do not know anyone involved in Saturday's tragedy, but I still kinda feel shocked and numb, and genuinely sad for the victims and their families.
were you there ??Thinking of you Boroseagull and all others who have been personally affected.

BBC Sussex interviewed a guy who was at the scene (around 8:40 Monday morning if on listen again). Think it may have been the chap who recorded the video with the 'has anyone checked the car?' audio. He was very shaken up and regrets taking the video.
Yes , i think it does.Does it matter? I like many people on here know someone who was friends with one of the victims. It could have been anyone of us - that's the horrific thing about this, it just shows life is just not fair sometimes. These were normal people, men on their way to football. I too can't get my head round this
If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Also thinking of you Boroseagull, I really hope you get good news.
