With many thousands scattered all over the show its goner take something special to stop all this that's for sure.
You can bomb Syria etc til it's flattened,but that's minuscule to what's out there....Time for countries to control their borders instead of letting every Tom dick and Harry just walk in...Sort out the troubles within and work from there.
Having open borders everywhere is just bloody ludicrous

Hollande says France demands a rapid implementation of “co-ordinated and systematic controls” of the EU’s internal and external borders.
He said: “If*Europe*does not control its external borders, then it’s back to national borders. This would be the dismantling of the European Union.”
He also said he wanted French law to allow dual nationals to be stripped of their French citizenship if they were convicted of terrorism and banned from entering France if they presented a “terrorism risk”.*
President Hollande announced that France will increase its presence in Syria. He has called for the UN security Council to meet in the coming days to adopt a united position against ISlamic State.*
“We are confronting an organisaton, IS, that has controls a large amount of territory, financial resources and military capabilities.”

Ludicrous considering the threats we face and was absurd even when we didn't.
The French Ambassador said that this attack was of a similar level of aggression to 9/11 which was the only time article 5 of the NATO treaty has been triggered calling on all members to respond militarily. Looks like the French are bypassing this option. Sighs of relief in many European capitals methinks.

Whilst I would not in any way disagree with that being a greater priority, we are told that we cannot do this and that as it is an EU rule.

It's time Europe opens its eyes and protects its people.
Merkel is the big big problem by allowing 1-2 million in and many of these in time will move on to pastures new I'm sure.
Disaster for Europe at this rate and it needs to be stopped now as it will only get worse throughout Europe due to the idiotic leaders and their naivety.

At least we have boarder and passport control so it makes it difficult for them to enter illegally.
The refugees we're meant to be taking in are from the camps in and around Syria. Unless ISIS have planted operatives in these camps (more difficult as everyone will already be registered), then we have nothing to fear from them.

I wish I could say that all those around the borders were decent,but that's not a risk we should be taking full stop.
If Isis thought like you they would stick a couple of thousand in the camps ready for a taxi to Britain just like in Italy and Greece.
Loads of illegals get through our borders and you've got the many thousands that visit and disappear into to the abyss.
Nobody knows who's good or bad surely?
At what point do those 100 000's accepted in mainland Europe then become Europeans with the inevitable freedom of movement that means whilst we remain in the EU have no power to stop any of them travelling to the UK ?

In the aftermath of these bombing it is most obvious the EU have got to order the restoring of borders. How intense the countries wish to control them is up to them individually.

That's what I stated a page back...
We toughen up the borders and deal with the issues within as that's our biggest threat...We really don't want internal Isis members as well as the ones flocking from the Middle East and Africa etc.

Whilst you are quite right, in that they were "home-grown" the idea of greater border controls will at least go some way to bringing more control as who comes and goes. As an aside, on the last two trips abroad, we were warned to arrive in Dover rather earlier than normal as the Government is carrying out checks as to who leaves the country. On both occasions, it was about 8.30am.The French waved us through with just the slightest nod, and the Brit booth was closed. We were asked for passports by the P&O staff, so to be fair, that might be the check?

Same, it seems we have needed to look to the east for some clarity on the situation.
It was the eastern Europeans that were first to say we need restrictions on the movement refugees, whilst our politicians showed vacuous facebook campaign of 'I will house a refugee' and now Russia seems ahead of the game with attacks on Syria with all its consequences.
The US, France and now the UK, sidling up to the playground tough guy asking if they could join in his game and saying sorry for telling on him.
