Various reports of people being detained at Gatwick, Heathrow and Leeds airports yesterday afternoon. All very sketchy at present but very worrying. Looks like we could have had a very near miss but early reports so far.

Jesus, UKippers are in their element today aren't they, unbelievably ignorant as usual. There are 6 million Muslims in France, these were less than 10 ********s. Maybe you could further your hatred of other beliefs to not just religion. These terrorists were men, would you like blame all men for thinking the same way as them? Maybe all straight people (I'm just guessing they were all straight but hey I might as well join in with the bullshit).
ukippers? What are you going on about. I think you'll find most, myself included have never voted Ukip. I think you'll find that most of us realists. We realise that not all muslims are terrorists . I've got a sandy beach outside my window. Come and bury your head in it.

The ignorant are those that ignored the warnings, the worries and the prophecies, there would be no "element" to be in if a tad of notice had been taken.
Now the usual suspects are coming on to diss those who posted the fears and worries that are coming to fruition. Perhaps take a look at your own "unbelievably ignorant " views, to me actually just views, before getting on your moral platform.

If all my emails and web browsing getting whizzed through a bank of computers somewhere means attacks like last night's are less likely to happen, then it should be happening.

And, yes, even details of those sites I visit late at night after my partner has gone to bed.

You Tube or something like that?

I think emails and web browsing are only a small part of the liberties that we could over time lose. Understand the sentiments and part of me agrees

If the government trawl through my browsing history they'll find:

I'm not that keen on Crystal Palace
I quite enjoy watching people hurt themselves doing stupid things
My quest to find the ultimate curry recipe continues
I quite enjoy watching pretty women clam joust.

No drama really.

What is the common denominating link between 9/11, 7/7, the shopping centre in Nigeria, the Tunisian beach attack, the attack in Sydney, and these attacks in Paris? One clue.......they were not all committed by men.

Many things so worrying now, all the cuts to the police and the army would leave us very vulnerable to a sustained attack like last night , not to say the low morale in places like hospitals and other branches of the services who would be called upon to help.

This sustained unlimited immigration of people has to stop now, if you can't prove who you are and where you're from you're not coming in. If you have nothing to hide and your reasons are genuine then you have nothing to fear, if not then you're put in a secure camp and detained till you're deported to where ever you've come from.

Is it something similar to the common denominating link between Columbine, the death of John Lennon, Sandy Hook, the bombing of a Medicin Sans Frontier hospital in Afghanistan and the Unabomber?

I am not sure about the first bit, I doubt that the top end specialise forces that would deal with any similar incident have been cut, quite the contrary and unless you are saying we just do not have the capacity within hospitals that again I doubt, then I do not think any perceived morale problem would effect care, or security I suspect nurses, police etc might take you to task for even thinking that it might.

Immigration well its all a bit late, but it might shock the naive politicians into accepting it needs more attention.
