Oxford's manor ground - it had about 8 separate stands - was a good trip.
Brentford's fun.
Bournemouth before they did it up - there was a long and low terrace in front of a row of massive houses - really picturesque(!)
And another vote for Luton - what a shit hole.

If I'm not mistaken or too pissed , I had a shepherds pie there or something on the lines of that.

You are correct,Kidderminster used to roll out top notch grub.The fella in the food area was in full Chef gear.
I have personally sampled bangers and mash,hog roast and stuffing roll,shepherds pie and chicken curry/rice there.
I have been more than once,obviously but I am a fat f***.

The only abiding memory of a trip to London Road in the 1970's was the awful stench of the urinals behind the terraces which really tested your gag reflex.

Cambridge - poor ground but good distance from Sussex. Food was good, always fun on the terrace behind the goal. Nice city.

Saltergate, Plainmoor, Home Park (Before the redevelopment) and Gay Meadow. The terracing and the electric feel to entering them before kick-off. Bliss!

Burnden Park ... there was a line on the away terrace that identified the point at which you would have a restricted view of the pitch which was very helpful

Leeds Road was great as well went in 1994 and saw the McAlpine being built a few hundred yards away in the mist it was around this time that there was breaking news of Brighton getting a new/ redeveloped ground ............ 1994

Rochdale. A proper old style football ground. Always a good awayday everytime I went there, even if I don't remember us ever actually winning. Decent fans, great pubs nearby, plus fantastic cheap pies in the ground.

I just looked up Gay Meadow on Google Maps to see what's there now...always a weird feeling knowing there was a ground there, and now it's just a mass of empty land.

I find it intriguing with all old grounds, seeing what's become of them now.

I remember going to Macclesfield in 2000-01. Seemed like a rustic ground. Locals were friendly in the local boozer. The game ended 0-0. Recall Kuipers making a decent save at full stretch in front of our away following.
