Irritatingly he's a born Brightonian and yet a die hard Manchester United fan.

you can point out to him that he wont be able to enjoy the hospitality as, being such a die hard ManU fan, he'll be off watching them most games. right?

Definitely true. I have a mate at the company who was rubbing my nose in it about all the free hospitality he'll be receiving at the new stadium as they're now the club's main sponsor.

I do worry that such an ambitious upstart company like this has jumped head first into such a big commitment. Yes there's money in recruitment BUT there just aren't very many jobs in Brighton and it's already a very competitive market for agencies like B&H Jobs. Just take a walk down Queens Road and it seems every other building is a recruitment firm.

I'd be surprised if we had a very long relationship with them to be honest. They'll soon realise they can't really justify the expense. Or they'll go bust

It costs £99 to advertise one job or £299 to advertise as many jobs as you like in one month.
Bloody hell, I did not realise it was so expensive. This must be the going rate. I should imagine they are using this money to post these jobs on other job portals.

Its actually quite good to have a local company advertising on our shirts. I have not seen a job advertised yet for a new striker.

Hope they treat job applicants details with more confidentiality than they seem to treat details of a major sponsorship deal that hasn't officially been announced yet? ???

Looking at the Brighton Jobs site, BHA, Amex and Legal & General are all listed among the 6 "founding partners". This being the case, it fits in well with our stadium sponsorship and given the stated mission statement of the organisation fits in very very well with the "community" aspect that the club is promoting.

Looks like a good sponser all round to me...

...except, I ALSO hate the logo and hope it isn't what appears on the shirt!

I was thinking this, however it may look good if applied all in one colour - i.e. black for the home shirts (this works well on Huddersfield's new home kit). As I said earlier, we'll see how it works with our colours when the first pics of the new kits come out. All 'insider' has promised is that we'll see pics of the new kits once the season has finished. So, it could be anytime between now and the first pre-season match.

Shirt Sponsorship

I do agree that a more nationally known sponsor would have cut more of the mustard in terms of impact on a national basis.

I don't think the club will be turning down any revenue stream, even a comparatively small one, just because some fans aren't that keen on it.
