Stop kidding yourselves. From my position at the far end in the Global Windows stand to your right, I'm afraid the Albion attendance looked quite pitiful really - fewer than 500 is my guess.

Where on earth was everyone?

The quality of football puts people off?
Quality of the football is immaterial - supporting the lads is surely why we all go. Who expected a win anyway? I thought we played pretty well - and enjoyed seeing CKR's excellent goal, plus a promising few minutes from Joe Gatting.

sheff utd didnt look that promising yesterday and we matched nearly all the game, we just gave away a few defensive errors and they exploited from that. I would say there was about 900 to a 1000 there yesterday, but I think there would have been more if we had the upper tier aswel like last year.

how much did that section we were in hold? as it didnt seem to far away from being full. and although i got to the end of the queue outside for 5 to 3 i did not get into the ground until 3.15 as their was a big queue still. must admit i thought at least 800 brighton there, maybe 1000.

Of course the quality of the football is a consideration. Granted there are 400-500 that will go anywhere, but for others spending the best part of £100 on a day in Sheffield to see some of our recent pish performances is going to be a big no no.

Maybe that is why Brighton fans just accept this poor form under McGhee, they are use to losing. You have to go into every game looking for something, after all we won their last year and however encouraging it is to see Gatting coming through and the quality of Kazim-Richards goal, it did not help us get a result yesterday.
