Just got home. Easy from birmingham to Sheffield. Safe journey back to Sussex folks. Thought we played them off the park 1st half until last 10 mins, they scored 2 to wipe out our lead. 2nd half I thought they were better but we scored 3

Waiting at Birmingham New Street for a train back to Reading. Enjoyed the game and looking forward to seeing the highlights as I am short and miss things when behind a goal end.

Saw an unsavoury incident going back to the train station after the game, some Sheffield fans decided to headbut a young fan, he wasn’t wearing colours so not 100% sure he was a Brighton fan, but he was targeted by these cowards as they thought he was. It was a completely unprovoked attack. He was quite rightly shocked by what happened but was saying he was ok. There was a Sheffield lady, who was warning Brighton fans (she was being kind) to get out from the underpass where this happened and was apologetic about their fan’s behaviour.

I hope the young man is ok.

So if you’re going there for the league game be vigilant when going back to the train station after the match they obviously have some complete *unts among their fan base.

You lucky folk well on your way home. I'm on the second of three Rail replacement buses, after which, if I'm lucky I will get the last train home - although there's plenty of time for that to be cancelled yet. It's quicker to Brighton than merely across the Pennines..

Just back in B Hill…..easy drive up back with virtually no delays, although anyone not far behind is probably going to suffer the M25 being closed 10-9

Funny old game, 2-2 wasn’t an unfair reflectio at HT, we were so sloppy at times. Gilmour MOTM for me, becoming instrumental for us. Great singing from us lot today, home fans were virtually silent from where we were standing. Please can we have a home draw next though ?
