Since I was a kid I always enjoyed the anticipation on Christmas Eve, for me the best day.

From childhood, to 80's drinking and now the organisation of family events, its all about the 24th.

So Gammon on Christmas eve and a few brandies, no breakfast on Christmas day, then drinks around families with beef and traditional turkey with all the trimmings.

Not one for deserts, but then home slightly sozzled and happily reflective on Christmas's past.

Always been a happy time for me, but gagging for a takeaway by boxing day for some reason.
