He can still bowl. I think he should come back, he is the greatest bowler ever. If he was only half as good as he was he'd still be amazing.
Some years ago when we were struggling we brought back Rev David Shephard and he scored a century and we also brought back Brian Close as both a player and captain and he was a success but times have changed and I think the physical requiements now would probably mean he wont come back.
Close wasn't brought back as a captain - he played against West Indies in 1976 at the age of 45 but Greig was captain.
You could have also mentioned Colin Cowdrey who got recalled in 1974/75 to play against Lillian Thompson.
It wouldn't totally shock me to see Warne come back but it would surprise me.
he'd be mental to come back
as he good as he is, not even picasso could paint a classic with a pencil and a lump of shit, and that is pretty much what the rest of the australian attack consists of
Have you just had a stroke?

No, he cares about his image too much. If he did he'd most likely bowl pies and get walloped all over the park. He hasn't played any decent level of competitive cricket in 18 months, and nothing longer than Twenty20 in 4 years.
