Interesting the news from the Villa side via their local rag is that Lescott turned Rangers down over personal terms / not wanting to uproot his family. Also there's now rumours that he's off to join Moyes at Sunderland instead.

Sunderland was the original suggested club he was going to . Probably more money than Rangers but they keep face by saying he failed a medical as nobody other than him can prove different.

There was 1 big signing who failed a medical at one club but joined another succesfully for some time but cant remember who it was.

Hull have form for this themselves , they also failed Charlie Austin. He instead signed for QPR and bagged 45 goals in 82 appearances.
