Around 8% is not too low

Dont believe the '150 deaths' the mexicans have no way of telling the difference between regularly flu and the H1N1 strain, regular Flu can also be lethal

Ok then, what about the CONFIRMED cases that are now popping up all over the world!?

Apparantly the person who has it in Spain, has no recent history of going to or coming into contact with anyone in Mexico. That is cause for concern, surely?

I'd be more worried by

A, the giant magma plume under Yosemite Park.. about 1,000 sq M of crust is overdue to blow causing cataclysmic extinction.

B,The volcano which is part of the Azores which, due to Pumice layering and rainfall, could involve about 15 sq M of rock sliding in to the sea causing a massive tsunami in the North Atlantic.

C, Any one of the thousands of tracked and untracked celestial bodies which could slam in to Earth at speeds of up to 15,000 mph leading to mass extinctions and a raft of poor quality movies.

if flu gets me, what the heck, I've had fun !

Yes but air travel has INCREASED since 1918. Therefore it is going to be so much harder to contain and control.

but the death toll still is only refined to mexico, all other cases (including British) are being treated well, we also need to remember mexico is still a third world country and health backgrounds will be worse, Im not too concerned about it and im in the age group that usually is

I'm not SCARED, as such but will be ever so pissed off if the end of civilisation occurs before I've had a chance to enjoy the house renovations. Certainly it'd be nice to get the carpets down first.
