It's not as simple as training some drivers, there has been a shortage of bus/coach drivers for a few years now. Many buses have adverts trying to recruit new drivers. A quick internet search would show that just about every local bus and coach company are advertising for drivers. It seems that the wages are not great and many people don't want the long hours, shift patterns, weekend working etc. so seems to lead to high turnover of staff.

On a recent Seagull Travel coach, the driver was saying he had been asked to come out of retirement to help cover as the company didn't have enough drivers.
Well that gets to a much bigger question of why we have such a big benefits bill when these career opportunities with full training are available, but let’s not go there 😂

Discounted drinks in the concourses after an evening game.
Extra bike racks.
Extra space for motorbikes/mopeds.
A couple of extra buses for each P&R.
Longer carriage trains.
Discounted parking for people who fill their car.
Bus routes that pick up a walkable distance from the Amex, & take people to central Brighton or Lewis.
The Terrace being open post game.

It's not like we need to change the habits of 10,000 people. If we could encourage say 1500-2000 people to not immediately get in the bus/train queue and instead find other ways or at least just delay their leaving the Amex by an hour then it would be a great help.
