We've sold a slack handful of half decent players in recent years, mostly it seems to help the club survive.

We probably all recall the most recent ones, say from Zamora onwards. But have there been other sales which have stuck in the memory, sales which made you think,"Crikey, someone's bought HIM!"

Have a think.

I remember Currie was a supprise!!

However Harding takes the biscuit, they had to pay for him aswell! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

To be fair I think we didnt want to gamble on Watson as I expect he was on a fairly good wage and was never fit, we lost Harding and Jonesy wanted a crack at regular first team football.

I miss Watto the most. We could do with his set piece

Jones & Watson were simply not good enough. Please remember back to when they played and EVERYONE said they were shit. Harding was nothing better than average & we did well to get the money we have got.

Mayo may not be great, but given the money we got for Harding I would rather have him

The same Paul Watson who now plays for Woking? Who got released by Coventry after playing ONE game?

 Adams was really impressed with him pre seasos, i wonder what went wrong...???

Probably trying to free up some funds to get some better players in I would imagine. I think the axe is looming for Adams, unfortunately. I don't think the board would risk getting relegated with their new stadium to pay for!

But is considered good enough to have played 15 out of 20 games for a team lying 4th with a game in hand, wish we had average full backs like that this season.

Would have been man of the match at the weekend had it not been for Healy. He was brilliant at the start of the season, that had a few weeks of wobbles but is in absolutely blinding form now. We've not had a left back like him since Harte (the younger version, not the slower to turn than the QE2 one).
