The bowling attack is;

Flintoff; obvious class, but no tests in 18 months
Anderson; doubtful up until yesterday with an injury problem
Pattinson; completely untested, with ELEVEN first class matches under his belt
Broad; fit and well, but can be pretty ineffective
Panesar.

If all hold up well, its a good, balanced attack. If one or more break down / get the yips, we could be very light.

what does Pattison bowl?? Not heard too much of him. Does he swing it or is he genuine pace, Right or left armer?

He's pretty quick and does move it around. Like a right armed Sidebum but more upright.

Morkel - very quick and takes wickets, best bowler last time round for them
Steyn - pretty toothless in the last match, didn't look interested
Ntini - blows hot and col but mostly cold recently
Harris - nothing special at all
Kallis - no pace anymore

Now Vaughan gone as wel - feet nowhere but no doubt they will say its an unplayable ball again.

Exactly what I was just thinking. Fair enough, it was a brilliant delivery but it's OBVIOUS the ball is swinging so you get out of your crease to negate it, don't wait for it to swing and then attempt to do something about it.
